Students study human societies and environments, both in the past and the present.

Humanities teaches the ideas and concepts that enable students to understand the way in which people and societies have organised their world under particular conditions and have made meaning of it.

The curriculum looks at the major domains of History and Geography, an introduction to Civics and Citizenship and Economics. These areas continue to Year 10, which builds a solid knowledge base for VCE studies and future career pathways.

Humanities Week

During Humanities Week, staff conduct a range of activities at lunchtimes in the areas of Geography, History, Business, and Social and Legal studies.
