William Turner Scholarships
Applications for the 2026 William Turner Scholarships are now open to students with a confirmed enrolment for Year 7 2026 at Keilor Downs College.
The William Turner Scholarships recognise students who demonstrate consistent academic effort, leadership potential, and meaningful contribution to their school or community.
Scholarship Structure:
- Year 7 Entry Award: $500
- Ongoing Awards (Years 8–12): $250 per year (subject to annual re-application)
Students awarded the scholarship on entry to Year 7 may re-apply in subsequent years by demonstrating their continued contribution and leadership within the KDC community such as participation in leadership programs, sport, performing arts, or other extra-curricular achievements.
Scholarship funds may be used to support co-curricular learning opportunities such as music lessons, incursions, excursions, sport, or SEAL activities, but not for Voluntary Contributions.
To be considered for the scholarship, download the application form and complete it with the help of your Grade 6 teacher. Applications close Friday, 21st November 2025 and can be submitted:

- in person to the KDC front office in an envelope marked “Attention – Carmena, William Turner Scholarship”.
